Mary had a little lamb
She thought it rather fun
To pull its tail twice a day
And shoot it with her gun.

Sure enough old Mary went
To annihilate Lamb
It backfired on the lass
And put Mary in a jamb.

"Friends," said Lamb, "watch really close
The evil woman's face.
For the way awry that Mary went
Was to dress as Aunty Grace.

"Large she is, and full of life
She'd fill a tank with lard
But dress her up in crimpoline
To miss her is quite hard.

"I took my hoof, and with a kick
A blow to make them proud
Poor Mary ended up as chops
And now sits on a cloud."
